Modern Cardiac Imaging and Cardiac Diagnostics
DIE RADIOLOGIE offers the full spectrum of cardiac imaging services using state-of-the-art equipment. We are a certified specialist center for cardiac imaging, recognized by the German Radiological Society.

We offer the following examinations:
- Cardiac CT: (CT coronary angiography/coronary calcium measurement): Used for the early detection of narrowing/calcification of the coronary arteries and allows for the assessment of a possible heart attack risk.
- Cardiac MRI: (magnetic resonance imaging or MRI of the heart): Assessment of the heart muscle and cardiac function, e.g., in cases of inflammation or scarring.
- Myocardial scintigraphy: Assessment of myocardial perfusion. You can find more information on this in our Nuclear Medicine center of excellence.

Private health insurance companies generally cover the costs of all cardiac examinations. Cardiac CT examinations are covered by your statutory health insurance.
Cardiac MRI examinations are currently not covered, but in certain cases, they may be partially covered by your insurance company.
Myocardial scintigraphy is covered by all health insurance companies.
Through our practice's selective contracts with some statutory health insurance companies, such as Audi BKK or DAK, the costs of cardiac diagnostics can be covered under certain conditions.
