Whole-body MRI examination
Whole-body MRI (WB MRI) enables comprehensive imaging analysis of the entire body during one single examination procedure without radiation exposure. Thus whole-body screening as a part of early diagnosis of organ diseases, in particular tumour diseases, is possible within a very short time.
Whole-body examination takes 35–45 minutes – with no X-ray radiation
Our modern MRI scanners enable us to carry out radiation-free, whole-body examinations. This is a sensible alternative to conventional, often time-consuming, multimodal diagnostic procedures. The image quality is approximately equivalent to that of MRI examinations of individual body regions. Whole-body MRI is particularly used for tumour diagnostics, for finding tumours and metastases, as well as for detecting rheumatic diseases and for monitoring therapeutic success.
