If an MRI examination cannot be performed in patients or in case of special issues, we have the option of performing CT myelography. In this outpatient procedure, contrast agent is injected into the spinal canal under X-ray control before the examination. The patient to be examined has a pacemaker. Therefore an MRI examination was not possible. The CT myelography reveals a large herniated disc which is clearly narrowing the spinal canal. <p/>
